January saw the first workshop of the new year and the fun part was in the cryptic title – ‘fit for a queen’! It could have been anything but this months project was using glass pearls (pearls? pearly queen? fit for a queen?!) Thinking about the design, colour and size of the beads was the first challenge of the morning. Next came the stinging together which looked much more complicated than it actually was as everyone had chance to work with the examples made earlier. We had a few huffs and puffs at one point before we realised that Claire had threaded the middles pearls round the wrong way but the end bracelet was worth it. Rachel made a brilliant necklace in pink and green – gorgeous!

Hi Janis, I met you at the Wey Port Dowsing Group on 20 April 2012 and wanted to say thanks for showing me how to make a very pretty pendulum and it was such good fun. It certainly is a refreshing change from the ‘same old shop bought jewellery that is found in most outlets’. I would recommend this to anyone.
Best Regards
Debbie
